Plante Wins Another Four
Ft. Washington, MD --- Roger Plante won four races for a second straight card on Wednesday night (March 28) at Rosecroft Raceway.
Plante piloted Arts And Flowers, Junkyard Treasure and Sum For All, to sweep the first three races. The latter won for a second straight start for owner Kerry Welty and trainer Judy Welty.
Plante later won with A Lady Sizzling for Green Valley Training and trainer Thomas Armour.
Plante is second in the Rosecroft driver standings behind Frank Milby who is making it tough for Plante to gain ground, as he won three races on the Wednesday night card.
Milby won the feature race for mares with Mischief Maker N for trainer Jim King Jr. in 1:53.4 on a track with a one second allowance. Milby won with his own trainee Rock King Deo for owner Irwin Samelman and also won a thrilling stretch duel with A Mean Hurricane to nip Cape Marj. The win gave Armour a training double on the night.
Arlene Cameron had a training double as Jared Moyer won with Follow My Dreams for owner John Wagner and Wagner drove Southwind Ferrari to a victory for owner Scott Woogen.
